Five Things We Saw
- Rudy Gay is the real deal. Solid effort off the bench makes Toronto fans wonder what he can do as a starter.
- LA could not hit a shot to save their lives today. Having a FG%age of 34.7% is no way to win a road game.
- Amir Johnson. Even though we definitely overpaid for him, he is looking to be worth the money. Should start even when Bargs comes back. Lots of offensive rebounds that kept eating the clock.
- I was listening in to the LA feed of the game. Amazing how little respect the Raptors get from US broadcasters. They never mentioned how well the Raptors played and attributed the loss to "not showing up" and poor shooting. Everytime they would talk of the score coming from commercial break, there was always a "Yikes!". Sorry about the rant.
- With Boston weak, and Philly struggling, 8th in the East is now a possibility.
